Tagaytay Highlands is a 1,290-hectare master-planned mountain resort community in Tagaytay City, spanning across Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas provinces. Elevation across the estate reaches up to 2,000–2,500 feet, giving it a cooler climate than most of the surrounding lowlands — a large part of why the area has long been a retreat destination.
The estate is organized into three macro-districts, each at a different elevation band and with its own character:

Sustainability
Across 1,290 hectares of rolling terrain, rich biodiversity and a year-round cool climate meet sweeping views of Taal Lake, Mt. Makiling, Canlubang Valley, and Laguna de Bay. Tagaytay Highlands is regarded as one of the most environmentally friendly leisure estates in the Philippines, a standing recognized with the “Friend of Biodiversity” award from the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity.
Every structure is built for resilience, designed to weather environmental risk rather than fight it after the fact. Nearly half of the developable land goes toward wellness and accessibility: walking paths, access ramps for differently-abled residents, spacious lawns, and pocket parks worked into every residential development.
Native, low-maintenance plants and trees fill the resort, fairways included, backed by an annual tree-planting program working toward one million trees by 2044. More than 490,000 are already in the ground across the complex.
Water use is tracked against projected demand, with retention ponds and rain gardens built into new residential projects. LED lighting and PWD-friendly amenities keep energy use in check, preventive maintenance keeps water, power, and internet reliable, and composting and recycling divert waste from landfills.
Residents shop for their own produce at Pick and Pay, the estate's organic farm, part of an everyday push toward sustainable living carried further by the ongoing “One Tree at a Time” initiative. The City Government of Tagaytay recognized that same commitment to safety and security with its “Safety Seal” award.
